Sky River Casino Grand Theft
December 19, 2025

On 12/05/25 at approximately 4pm, the suspect stole an $1500 electric airless sprayer from the bed of a  truck and loaded the electric airless sprayer in a white GMC Yukon (CA/8TRS321), then later fled the area in the GMC.

The incident was captured on the Sky River Casino surveillance cameras.  The suspect  is believed to be involved in a prior grand theft that occurred at the Sky River Casino on 11/19/25 between 5-6 pm,  (EGPD
case #25-008471).
The appeared to be a 40-50 year-old Hispanic male with short black hair.
The registered owner of the GMC is a female, who sold the vehicle to the suspect months ago.

Nine8 Comics & Games
December 13, 2025

On 11/30/2025 at approximately 2158 hours, West Sacramento PD Officers responded to a commercial 459pc at Nine8 Comics & Games (2105 Town Center Plz).  Security camera footage revealed what appeared to be two males wearing black over black, with hoods and ski masks exit an unknown white SUV. The two suspects approached the front entrance of the store before eventually exiting the camera frame. Officers later discovered that forced entry was made into the rear entrance of the store at approximately 2152 hours. The two suspects made their way into the back of the store and filled 
black garbage bags with Pokémon cards and various merchandise. They also took a small safe, and two backpacks containing approximately $10,000 in Pokémon cards and various other types of trading cards. The approximate total of stolen property was $17,000.

WHATSUPSTAIRS Burglary
December 02, 2025

Burglary Investigation – Whatsupstairs Thrift and Antiques Case:  CH25-05041

The Citrus Heights Police Department continues to request the public’s assistance in identifying suspects involved in a commercial burglary at Whatsupstairs Thrift & Antiques, located at 7134 Auburn Blvd. On July 6, 2025, at approximately 4:43 AM, the suspects forcibly entered the business and stole an estimated $50,000 in gold and silver jewelry. Surveillance footage captured the suspects breaking a glass door and display cases before fleeing the scene.

  *   Silver/Grey 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee (CA License Plate #8UCY168)

UPDATE – Suspect Information
Suspect 1 – Getaway Driver: Identified as Saience Sai VANHSY. His whereabouts are currently being sought in connection with a felony arrest warrant for burglary. The passenger in the vehicle remains unidentified. Information is requested regarding both Vanhsy and the unidentified passenger.

Suspect 2: Possibly Asian or White male, seen wearing a brown hoodie (earlier) and a blue hoodie (during the burglary), blue jeans, black shoes, black gloves, and carrying a black backpack. He used a hammer to break the glass door and display case.

Suspect 3: Male, seen wearing a face covering, black clothing, and red/yellow socks. He entered the cashier area and took a white box.

Hibachi Buffet Sushi & Grill
August 27, 2025

On August 15, 2025, at approximately 0347 hours, CHPD officers were dispatched to the Hibachi Buffet Sushi & Grill, located at 5623 Sunrise Boulevard, regarding a reported fire behind the business. Upon arrival, officers observed an active fire originating from a dumpster positioned near the rear of the establishment and posing an immediate threat to the structure. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department personnel responded and extinguished the fire. Based on the Sacramento Metro Fire Department’s Arson Investigation, it was determined to be intentionally set on fire.

HOMICIDE 400 ARDEN WAY
June 23, 2024

On Sunday, June 23, 2024, just after 2:00p.m., Sacramento Police Department officers responded to the 400 Block of Arden Way for reports of a shooting. At the scene, officers located one adult male with at least one gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were attempted; however, the victim was pronounced deceased on scene.

HOMICIDE MYRTLE AVE CS 24-027

                           CAN YOU HELP SOLVE THIS HOMICIDE?
 
Just before 2:15 AM on Monday, May 27, 2024, the Sheriff’s Communications Center received a 911 transfer call from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) regarding a shooting on the 3300 block of Myrtle Avenue in North Highlands. CHP Officers arrived on the scene first and discovered an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputies arrived moments later as CHP Officers were rendering first aid. The Sacramento Metro Fire Department arrived shortly after and ultimately pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

HOMICIDE CITRUS HEIGHTS 22-03797 CS 24-026
May 22, 2024

On May 23, 2022, the Citrus Heights Police Department responded to a shooting that took place at the Birdcage Apartments in Citrus Heights, CA during evening hours. Once CHPD arrived on scene, it was discovered that the victim, 20-year-old Jacob Lopez, was shot and killed. CHPD is seeking new information to assist with this investigation.

BURGLARY AUBURN PD CS 24-025
May 16, 2024

On 5/15/24, the Auburn Police Department responded to a burglary alarm at Gold Rush Chevrolet in Auburn. An unknown male subject smashed the window and removed the screen. Before the suspect was able to climb through the window, Officers arrived on scene and he fled on foot into a wooded area. Unfortunately, the suspect was able to evade law enforcement. The suspect was described as a white male adult with dirty blonde or light brown hair, a long blue sleeve shirt, and tan pants. He is believed to be in his late 20s or 30s.
