Three men are wanted for theft from the Best Buy store in Davenport (Posner Park) on Monday, August 26th at 3:00 in the afternoon.
The men walked in individually within one minute.
While Suspects 1 and 2 went to an aisle, Suspect 3 went to speak with an employee, creating a distraction.
Suspect 1 made several trips to where the home security systems were located. He would grab one, and take it to Suspect 2 who would remove an anti-theft device from the item then conceal it. This went on and on as Suspect 3 chatted up the employee.
Suspects 1 and 2 left the store with a lot of concealed valuable security equipment.
Suspect 3 left less than a minute later.
The suspects walked across the parking lot to a U-Haul truck and left the area.
All three of our suspects appear to be between the ages of 50-65 years old.
If you recognize any (or all three) of these men, or know anything helpful to this investigation, please contact Detective Goodlet at 863-292-3393, or to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward leading to an arrest, contact Heartland Crime Stoppers 1-800-226-TIPS (8477) or www.heartlandcrimestoppers.com and click on "Submit A Tip," or download the free "P3tips" app on your smartphone or tablet.
Detectives from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office are hoping someone can come forward with information regarding an armed robbery at the Harvest Meat Market (4441 Old Kathleen Road, Lakeland) that occurred on Saturday, September 14th at around 7:14 p.m.
Two men armed with semi-automatic handguns robbed the store at gunpoint, forcing the employees into the walk-in freezer.
Both suspects are black males, and each wore a dark hoodie, beanie hat, and gloves. As you can see, one has a blue backpack.
They fled the scene in a silver newer-model Kia Sportage.
Car burglars hit the Mulberry neighborhood of Turner Oaks around 3:40 in the morning of Monday, September 9th.
In the video, you can see a car arrive in the area, and two young men get out and get busy with their chosen vocation---thieving. They go to the first property and flip the door handles.
Locked. Moving on.
At the second house, one of the little crooks tries the passenger side of an SUV and the door opens.
Once inside, he gathers all that he can. And then off into the darkness they go.

We can’t stress enough the importance of making sure your vehicles are locked (and preferably empty of valuables). Inevitably, though, there’s going to be at least one commenter who says that if you don’t lock your cars, you deserve to have it burglarized. But that’s not so. Sometimes you hit a wrong button, or a child gets into your car and doesn’t lock it, or you just simply forget. It happens, but it doesn’t give someone a right to commit burglary and theft. But it is VERY helpful if you get in the habit to always lock up.
We need to identify the little burglars. Perhaps you know one or both, the driver, the car, or have heard some chatter about someone involved.

Burglary was the case on Monday, August 26th at around 4:08 in the morning. It happened at the Ace Hardware store in Mulberry.
Deputies first responded to the business due to a burglar alarm. When they arrived, the alarm was blaring and the burglar was gone.
Here’s what we know: the burglar caused a lot of damage while burgling. From the store’s security video (which we are still waiting to obtain), you can see that the burglar appears to be white. He was wearing camouflage pants, camo hunting hat, and camo mask…but we could still see him. He also appeared to wear latex gloves.
The getaway vehicle may (or may not) be a Ford Expedition, or something similar. It had four wheels…we do know that.
The burglar made off with about fifteen pairs of Costa sunglasses...which we thought was a kind of odd thing to steal…until we learned just how much fifteen pairs of Costa sunglasses are worth.
PERSONAL NOTE: Research how difficult it would be to become a manufacturer of sunglasses.
We’re hoping that someone might recognize our burglar, know something about this crime, or might know someone who oddly has more than a dozen Costa sunglasses.
